10 Month Old Chokes on Small Rubber Ball

A 10 month old male, playing with the rubber ball of the ball and jacks set that belonged to an older sibling, has the rubber ball lodged in his throat after he placed the ball in his mouth. The child's mother could not dislodge the ball, nor could the emergency medical team summoned to the scene for assistance. The child was taken by ambulance to a medical facility, too late to save his life. The child was dead on arrival at the hospital.
